This massive Lord Hanuman murti is in a sleeping position

Lord Hanuman

The murti formed of the roots of a living banyan tree in this ancient temple in Jamsavli, district Chindhwara, Madhya Pradesh is located very close to the state's border with Maharashtra, and is over 100 km from the town of Sausar.

The pepul tree is considered to be a manifestation of Lord Rama here with Hanuman ji at his feet. The Lord is considered a Brahmachari here, and is reputed to very powerful.

Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra, is the city nearest to this temple.

Devotees with financial, health and spiritual difficulties visit this temple and are known to get relief by the grace of Shri Hanuman who is the destroyer of all pains of his devotees!

My Lord Hanuman, the slave of Shri Rama, inspire in us the desire to glorify the leelas, names and devotees of Raghunandana! Siyavar Ramchandra ki jai! Shri Hanuman ki jai!
