Shri Radhe Maa - All glories to the empress of Kashi

Mata Annapurneshwari

Mata Annapurneshwari, the presiding Goddess of Kashi the holiest of cities is a granter of abundance in food, wealth and marital bliss!

She is the aspect of Devi as the consort of Lord Shiva in his aspect as the Lord of Kashi. Such is her glory that even Lord Shiva is depicted as a beggar in her presence. Mata Annapurna does not eat till all her devotees have been fed. She is maternity manifested at its highest. Mata Annapurneshwari holds the keys to fulfillment of all desires including the greatest desire of embodied beings – the longing to merge with Shiva!

Whoever chants the Annapurna Stotram of Shankara Bhagvadpad experiences abundance, health and good fortune in this life and also quickens his journey towards moksha.

All glories to our Mother Annapurna of Kashi whose gentle smile melts the heart of Lord Mahakal! Har Har Mahadev! Jai Mata Annapurna!
