Jai Maa Sharda Maihar Waali
The Mahihar Maa Sharda temple was built in 502 AD and is renowned for its powers. Maa Shrada is a granter of wealth, health and intelligence to her devotees who visit her from all corners of the country. Today, is Vasant Panchami. May the Great Goddess Sharada of Maihar keep us on the right path always.
A 12th century rajput visits this Maa Sharda temple everyday Brothers Alha and Udal were Rajputs who were Prithviraj Chauhan's adversaries. Feats of their bravery are sung to this day in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. Bundelis believe that Alha, who was a staunch devi bhakta, visits the Sharda Devi (Maa Saraswati) temple every day at 4 am, performs his puja and leaves.
Jai Mata Di! Happy Basant Panchami!
