Chhath Puja : Did you know?

Did you know?

Chhath Puja - Shri Radhe Guru Maa
Worship of the Lord Sun was sanctioned by Sri Adi Shankara, the great defender and propagator of the Hindu tradition along with that of Devi, Ganesha, Shiva, and Vishnu. The worship of Surya is not limited to India. He was worshiped by the ancient Egyptians as Ra, by the Aztecs as  Tonatiuh, by the Greeks as Helios, the Chinese as Taiyang Shen, and is revered to this day by Nigerians who follow IFA, the native religion of the Yoruba tribe as Lord Olòrún.
